Joint us to learn more about ICES including an overview of the data and services available. A panel of ICES MSK Scientists will also discuss ICES Project topis and their experiences working with this important resource.
This session is the first step of a series of events to increase awareness of the research possibilities when using ICES data. This i prequel will help generate interest and a knowledge base for a more in depth workshop session being offered at the BJI Research Retreat later on in June.
Officially launched in December 2012, ICES Western is a collaborative initiative between Lawson Health Research Institute, Western University, the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare. Core funding for the facility build and 5-year start-up costs was provided by the Academic Medical Organization of Southwestern Ontario (AMOSO), over 10 departments in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University and Lawson Health Research Institute.
