Income Tax Info Session for International Students

The International and Exchange Student Centre will be presenting an Income Tax Information Session geared towards both undergraduate and graduate international students.

This workshop will go over some of the following information:

• A quick overview of the Canadian tax system
• Determining your residency status for tax purposes
• Who needs to pay taxes and why
• The benefits of filing a tax return as an international student
• What documents are needed to file a tax return and where to find them
• Important information for first-time filers
• General information on how to file a tax return, where to get help, and a quick overview of Ufile
