Western International is partnering with Western’s Special Constable Services to offer this important session on scams and how a student can protect their identity, their money and their safety.

Unfortunately, international students are frequently targets for scams. A scam is a fraudulent scheme to steal money, personal information and/or cause harm. It can come through email, text, by phone, or sometimes in person.

Session attendees will hear about situations where international students have been victims to scams and learn strategies to avoid scams from Western Special Constable Service’s Amanda Pfeffer.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
