By the end of the hour, participants should be able to 1. Detect clinical features and delineate the pathogenesis of IEM (especially ones where there are potential therapies) 2. Discuss various therapies for management of IEM 3. Assess the role, limitations, and successes of various therapies such as enzyme replacement therapies, substrate reduction therapy, stem cell transplant and gene therapy.
