What do we know about the science and medicine of the ongoing 2019 novel Coronavirus epidemic in the context of virology, infectious disease medicine and our experience with past outbreaks of other coronaviruses?

Western students are invited to this informational forum appropriate for students in fields related to science, medicine, dentistry and public health. A panel of researchers and clinicians from the Western community will present science-based information on the Coronavirus epidemic to be followed by a question and answer session.

Zoom Web Conferencing:

This forum will also be available for viewing live online via Zoom Web Conferencing for individuals with a Western email address. To register for online viewing, please email mnispecialevent@uwo.ca and provide your Western email address by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10. You will be sent a link (on February 10) that will provide access to the Zoom meeting. You will be able to submit questions for the panel during the forum via the chat window.
