Time:
7:00 pm
Location:
University College (UC)
Western University
Room: Beryl Ivey Gardens - outdoors
Kent Drive
London, ON

$10

Much Ado About Nothing is a beloved Shakespearean Comedy that relies on tensions created by a paradoxical use of deception by its characters as a tool to both disrupt love and promote it.

Through a fresh and daring lens this open-air, site-specific, 90-minute production will be led by a full female/gender non-conforming cast which challenges the question of “Who owns Shakespeare?”, creating a dynamic exploration of ownership and bodies in space.

Plus, for $10 you can’t go wrong! For greater accessibility, we have made ticket prices as low as possible for the entire run of the show.

Location: Outdoors at Western in Beryl Ivey Gardens

The Beryl Ivey Gardens are located behind the University College building on the main campus of Western University in London, Ontario. Behind its historic facade, you will find a lush garden with an entryway marked by a vine-covered trellis.

About: Western Summer Shakespeare is a longstanding tradition in the London community. It is outdoor theatre, staged on campus at Western University. The first Western Summer Shakespeare performance took place on 4 August 1981, making it the longest running campus, or indeed outdoor, Summer Shakespeare in Canada - longer than the Dream in High Park by two years!
