Live-Tweet Movie Night with Professors: The Great Gatsby

Tune in to Netflix to screen The Great Gatsby on October 23, Friday at 7 pm for a live-tweet sesh with our English and Writing Studies professors!

What to do?

1. Make a Twitter account if you don’t already have one.
2. On Friday, October 23 at 7:00 pm, start screening The Great Gatsby (2013), available on Netflix, wherever you are! Grab some snacks and drinks to get the full movie-night experience.
3. While watching, tweet your thoughts and insights using the hashtags #TheGatsbyCoterie #EnglishWesternU so that you can read other people’s tweets and they can read yours!
4. Read the fun information our favourite professors share regarding the movie, the book, or the era and retweet or respond to their comments!
5. Finally, have fun! This is meant to be a meaningful community-building activity. Your tweets and responses can be funny, thoughtful, or critical (we are all nerds here!). However, please use your discretion while tweeting and do not tweet anything hateful or offensive.
