Narrative Rounds is pleased to present our inaugural event! Arthur W. Frank (Calgary), "Whose narrative, what medicine?" February 14th, 12 - 1pm, University Hospital, Auditorium A Everyone is welcome, campus & community! We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new initiative, Narrative Rounds at Western! Narrative Rounds draws together faculty, students, and community members from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to develop narrative-based approaches to culture, health & medicine. To launch our series, we have invited the distinguished University of Calgary sociologist Arthur W. Frank! Arthur W. Frank is professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Calgary. This event was made possible by: the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, the Student Development Fund through the Arts & Humanities Students’ Council, The Narrative Medicine Initiative, AMS Phoenix Project, the Department of Women’s Studies and Feminist Research, and the Public Humanities.
