The UN Conference on Biodiversity (COP15) will take place in Montreal at the beginning of December. Ahead of COP15, Nature Canada is coming to Western University as part of their cross-country education and awareness campaign!

Nature Canada will be dressing up their tour buses as endangered species to draw the public's attention to COP15 and the conference's goals; conservation, protection, restoration, and sustainable mangaement of biodiversity and ecosystems for the next decade.

Nature Canada's tour bus will be located near Oxford Drive with an information booth that we welcome everyone to come and visit. An indoor Fair with student groups and clubs from Western as well as community members from around London will be inside the Weldon Library Lobby holding information booths. Everyone is encouraged to come and connect!

There will be an additional opportunity for the campus community to take part in a letter-writing campaign, also inside Weldon Library. These letters will travel alongside Nature Canada and be delivered at the COP15 conference to the federal government. These letters will serve as messages of hope for nature recovery.
