Zin Taylor (Calgary, 1978) lives and works in Paris, France. Recent solo exhibitions include A Dove on the Beach: a piece of cloth to relax upon is a void to stage your thoughts , FRAC île-de-france/Le Plateau - Vitrine, Paris; Creative Writing, Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster; and Five Units of Haze, Oakville Galleries, Oakville. A monograph publication Lavender Glass will be released this fall co-published by the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Lethbridge and Mousse Publishing, Milan. Taylor recently participated as an invited fellow at the Fürstenberg Contemporary residency in Heiligenberg, Germany, with an exhibition to follow in 2019.

This Artist talk is part of "Art Now!", a course offered by the Department of Visual Arts at Western University. The course focuses on current contemporary art production, both locally, nationally and internationally.
