Title: Empire on Trial: Mau Mau and the High Court of Justice
Speaker: Caroline Elkins is a Professor of History and of African and African American Studies at Harvard University, the Thomas Henry Carroll/Ford Foundation Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, Affiliated Professor at Harvard Law School, and the Founding Oppenheimer Faculty Director of Harvard's Center for African Studies.
The lecture series was established in 1975 by the Honourable Edwin A. Goodman and his family of Toronto to perpetuate the memory of their beloved elder daughter, a second-year History student who died in a highway accident in April of that year.
