J.J. Talman Lecture Series - Kevin Spooner
The History Department will be hosting Associate Professor Kevin Spooner as the latest speaker for the 2023 J.J. Talman Lecture Series.
Kevin Spooner is an Associate Professor in the Department of History and Director of the Laurier Centre for the Study of Canada (LCSC),Wilfrid Laurier University
Dr. Spooner's research expertise is in the history of Canadian foreign policy, particularly Canada’s contribution to international peacekeeping and Canadian relations with Africa with focus on the impact of decolonization during the governments of John Diefenbaker and Lester Pearson.
