Please join us in welcoming Dr. James Duncan
He will be presenting his talk "Interrogating the cancer kinome using proteomics.”
Dr. James Duncan is the recipient of a 2024 Alumni of Distinction Award from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Duncan completed both his undergraduate and graduate training in Biochemistry at the University of Western Ontario. Following postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina, he was recruited to the Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia) where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Cancer Signaling and Microenvironment Research Program. The Duncan lab applies proteomics approaches including kinome profiling and phosphoproteomics to identify new therapeutic kinase targets for the treatment of cancer.
