The Road to Reproducible and Translatable Pre-clinical Research Series is a new initiative of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry's Office of Research and Innovation, Pre-clinical Research to spotlight new and innovative methodologies in pre-clinical research and highlight the latest thinking underlying best practices in in vivo and ex vivo pre-clinical research programs.

Our inaugural speaker in the series, Joseph Garner, will present two lectures. Dr. Garner is Professor of Comparative Medicine and, by courtesy, of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. 

Session 1: To the 3R's and Beyond! Assessing Experimental Design, Statistics and Power during Ethics Review.

Session 2: Reproductibility, Translation, Therioepistemology, and the Future of Preclinical Animal Models
