You’re invited! Join the Western Libraries' Wiki Tuesday team for an in-person Wikidata edit-a-thon! Together we’ll spend the hour learning how to add and edit Wikidata items, before diving into some hands-on solo editing. This is a great opportunity to learn basic Wikidata editing skills and how Wikidata can be relevant to your own work.
No previous experience needed. All are welcome and everything you need to successfully edit or upload a Wikidata item will be provided during the session.
The edit-a-thon will be held in the Weldon Instruction Room, located in the Map and Data Centre. Interested attendees can meet at the Weldon front doors just before 11 to head down together. Registration not required. See you there!
