Archives and Research Collections Centre

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Western Libraries' Archives and Research Collections Centre (ARCC) for Doors Open 2019. One of five Western University sites featured this year, the ARCC is a purpose-built facility that preserves and provides access to Western University's archives, rare books, and other special collections. Please note this site is open Saturday only.

Things to do!

  • Come behind the scenes of Western's Archives and Research Collections Centre to see selected highlights from the university's archives, rare books, and special collections.
  • Items on display will include first editions and other rare items highlighting our archives and special collections.

Please visit the Doors Open London website to learn more about all of Western's Doors Open London sites that are open at various times on Saturday: Don Wright Faculty of Music, Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS), Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory, McIntosh Gallery, and the Archives and Research Collections Centre. Download map (PDF).

Please note that the ARCC does not have a separate street address; its entrance is located on the main floor of The D.B. Weldon Library.

Several free parking options are available at Western on Saturday, Sept. 14. The most convenient lots for visiting the ARCC are either Springett or Huron Flats. For complete details and a parking map, visit https://www.uwo.ca/parking/find/visitor.

Visitors - Note that Western's entire campus is now completely smoke free.
