To fulfill the Two Row Wampum is to learn to walk alongside each other in peace, respect, and friendship. We will be fulfilling the Wampum by braiding the recent White Corn harvest—a community-based method of bringing people together and educating them on the roles and responsibilities of Indigenous agriculturalists and the Food Sovereignty movement. Join Laura Ramirez of the Office of Indigenous Initiatives at the Wampum Learning Lodge to engage in the traditional braiding of corn and communities.
