Wampum Belt and Treaty Teachings

The Wampum Learning Lodge is pleased to present and host Ka’nahsohon Kevin Deer, and others to be announced. In celebration and acknowledgment of our one-year anniversary at The Wampum Learning Lodge and in recognition of Treaty Week, Ka’nahsohon will be in residence providing teachings and knowledge sharing around some of the most notable Wampum Belts and Treaties amongst the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, Lunape and Settler nations.   The Wampum Learning Lodge was named because of the connection that the Onyota:aka, Anishinaabe  and Lunape have to the oral tradition of Wampum Belt keeping, making, and sharing.
