Attention Indigenous students! Have you always wanted to learn more about the Métis People?

In the first part of this workshop, Gloria describes the history and evolution of the Métis people as a distinct culture, from the Quebecois Voyageurs to the Northwest Resistance and the role played by Louis Riel – a politician, statesman and hero of the Métis people. In the second part, Gloria shares her personal story of growing up in a household with a Métis father who denied his roots.
