What is Intent to Register (ITR)?
Every March, students have the opportunity to request entry into a program by submitting their Intent to Register (ITR).
Who?
- If you are in first-year and you plan to return to Western in the Fall
- If you have not yet declared a program/module(s)
- If you are a senior student and want to add, drop or change a module
Why?
By completing an ITR form you are letting Western University know that you are returning and the program that you plan to take next year. If you don't do this, you won't be able to register for courses.
Where?
Most students will be able to complete the ITR process online through Student Centre. Students who are unable to complete the ITR process online should contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance.
How?
To begin the ITR process see the step-by-step guide.
When?
Beginning March 1, ITR is available through Student Center. Students who have submitted their ITR by March 31 will have their requests reviewed during adjudication in May. This adjudication will trigger an online course registration appointment if you are eligible to continue at Western.
