Lynda Shaw Memorial Lecture

The Lynda Shaw Memorial Lecture Series was established in memory of Lynda Shaw, a third-year mechanical engineering student at Western who was murdered near Highway 401 in 1990.

This year's guest speaker is Western Engineering alumna, Charity Kabango, BESc’05, Director and Co-Founder of Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners with her talk "Pursuing Authentic Leadership".

Charity Kabango holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Western University and is Director and Co-Founder of Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners. Raised in Canada, Charity has always maintained a connection to her native country of Rwanda. With a passion for leveraging her background in engineering, international development and public policy to serve the community, she brings a wide range of experiences and insight to Western Engineering.
