The focus of the workshop will be building elements into your application that distinguish successful vs unsuccessful grant applications, including each component of the proposal: detailed description, presenting yourself as a researcher, knowledge mobilization, training HQPs, and preparing the budget, including in-kind contributions. Presenters who have recently received Tri-Council grants will discuss examples of primarily qualitative and primarily quantitative proposals.
