Join the Department of Oncology for Dr. Beatrice Preti's presentation "Spotlight on the Learner Experience: Why Should We Care," hosted by the Division of Medical Oncology.
Dr. Preti's presentation will:
- Discuss trainee-consultant interactions from the perspective of a contemporary trainee in oncology;
- Describe short-term and longer-term effects of moral distress and epistemic injustice;
- Explain how educators can reconcile the need for psychological safety with pushing a learner into their Vygotsky Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD).
