Join the Department of Oncology for Dr. Ming Pan's presentation "Time to join innovative radiation oncology research by developing the first BNCT centre in Canada?," hosted by Dr. Caroline Hamm, Division of Windsor Oncology.
Dr. Pan's presentation will:
- Review the history of Boron Neutron Capture Theory (BCNT) since the hypothesis in 1936.
- Differences between BCNT in Nucelar Research Reactors (NRRs) and accelerator based BCNT (AB-BNCT)
- Current status of BNCT research and development globally.
- Summary of the CFI 2023 Innovation Fund application to build the first BNCT research centre in Canada.
