We know you've heard it before: "What are you going to do with your degree?" It's a common sentiment at family dinners and even career fairs that a future with a liberal arts degree looks a lot like a giant question mark. It's time to dispel the myths. This question is difficult to answer not because the options are only professor or law but because the paths you can take with liberal arts is countless!

Presented to you by the Arts and Humanities Students' Council and the Faculty of Music Students' Council, this event will feature A&H/music alumni in a variety of professions. Network with these successful individuals and hear their advice on how to acquire and thrive in careers in the field. Listen to their industry insights and personal experiences with how their degree benefitted them. The event will include an introductory panel, structured networking session, and casual reception for mixing and mingling.

Come dressed in business casual, treat yourself to free food, and gain valuable connections in the liberal arts community beyond university. Leave inspired about the bright future waiting ahead with your liberal arts degree.

This free networking event is open to all students in the FAM (FIMS, Arts & Humanities, and Music) faculties and is a great opportunity to learn about the career paths and successes of Western's very own Arts and Music alumni. Network with these successful individuals and hear their advice on how to acquire and thrive in careers in the field. Listen to their industry insights and personal experiences with how their degrees benefitted them. The event will include an introductory panel, structured networking session, and casual reception for mixing and mingling.

This event is accessible! The main entrance of the Visual Arts Centre is accessible with accessible washrooms nearby. Find out more at: https://accessibility.uwo.ca/doc/floorplan/bf-vac.pdf.
