Do you leave career fairs and feel like you wasted your time with companies who don’t know what to do when you say you’re in a liberal arts field? Does every one of your family dinners include the question: “what are you going to do with your degree?” Are you interested in knowing what to do next with your degree? Then we have the perfect event for you!

Come explore the possibilities of your degree with an alumni networking event mixer catered to liberal arts students on February 7 presented by AHSC, FIMSSC, FOMSC and SSSC. Come join us for a casual gathering of alumni and students intended to bring together alumni at all stages of career to provide meaningful advice on careers and job hunting! Students will have the opportunity to meet featured networkers across several fields and industries as they share their career experience, industry insights and professional perspectives. This event will include an introductory panel and structured networking session followed by a casual reception of mixing and mingling.

This opportunity is open to students in A&H, FIMS, Music and Social Science to engage with peers, and featured networkers from participating faculties to learn about the benefits of their degrees, increased awareness of career information as well as learn more about the transition from student to alumni.

So dress in your best business casual and bring your friends, your roommates, your soph partners… everyone! Come for the food and stay for the learning, the networking and the opportunity to actually hear about ‘what to do with your degree’ and gain valuable connections with peers in similar fields.

Registration is required for the event. List of alumni to come.
