We are delighted to invite you to the Annual Alan C. Burton Lecture, featuring Dr. Matthew Koff. This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, in Auditorium A, University Hospital B3-246.

The doors will open at 10:15 a.m., with refreshments being served, and the lecture is set to commence at 10:30 a.m. During this session, Dr. Koff will discuss “Innovation at the Intersection: Bridging Radiology and Orthopedics”.

Dr. Koff, an Associate Scientist at HSS and Associate Professor at Weil Cornell Medical College, specializes in biomedical imaging. His research, including doctoral work at Columbia University and a post-doctoral fellowship at Mayo Clinic, focuses on improving orthopedic diagnosis and treatment using quantitative MRI, particularly in musculoskeletal conditions like osteoarthritis and meniscal degeneration. Collaborating with Dr. Hollis Potter, he co-directs the HSS MRI Laboratory, advancing translational research in this field.
