Western History Research Seminar Series presents Intergenerational Resilience: A Survivor's History of the Scoop 1950-2021.
This lecture will discuss the academic history of the Sixties and Millennial Scoop from the perspective of an Indigenous millennial who was raised in foster care in the 1990s.
Elizabeth is mixed race: Vietnamese and Metis. They were raised in foster homes in Saskatchewan then adopted into a non-Indigenous family from Ontario which is the definition of the Millennial Scoop.
