Bruce Taylor, MRE, P.Eng.

Bruce has three decades of experience in the fields of water and energy conservation, pollution prevention, sustainable development, and treatment process design. He has won the highest awards in the Pollution Prevention field in both Canada and the United States, and was recently selected as the top environmental consultant in Canada by Clean50.

He is the founder of Enviro-Stewards, an organization that offers holistic, sustainable solutions to companies to enable them to maximize productivity and reduce resource consumption, is a Best for the World classified B Corporation, recipient of Global Compact Canada’s SDG Goal award, and the only Canadian company to win a Global SDG award. His sustainability engineering work for Campbell Soup, Southbrook Winery, Andrew Peller, Maple Lodge, Dextran, North York General Hospital, 50 Food Processors, and Tim Hortons has been recognized with national awards. 

In 2004, Bruce founded The Safe Water Project to empower communities in South Sudan, Uganda and Kenya to construct water purification systems using locally available materials to provide safe water sustainably. The Safe Water Project has won an international globe award and has been featured in B the change magazineMEDA magazine, and a TEDx talk.

Bruce is motivated by the responsibility to be good stewards of the resources we have been entrusted with and to build shared, durable prosperity for the next generation.
