It might surprise you to learn that personality assessment is now one of the more popular approaches that employers use to help them make hiring decisions. Research on this topic has revealed the fascinating benefits and limitations to the use of personality assessment within this context.

Richard Goffin is a Professor of Psychology at Western University. Over the past 30 years he has conducted research and consulted in the areas of personnel selection, personality assessment, and employee performance assessment/management.
