This presentation is part of the Centre for Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction 2016-2017 Speakers' Series.  Sara Wharton, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor will speak on Gender and International Criminal Law.

Wharton holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, Faculty of Law. She also holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a B.A. (Honours) from Queen’s University.  She researches in the fields of international criminal law and transnational criminal law and is also interested in public international law, international humanitarian law, and Canadian criminal law.
