The Canadian Conference on Medical Education scheduled to take place in Vancouver in April has decided to move to a virtual format. This is to align with a directive from the Government of British Columbia to cancel any gatherings of more than 250 people due to COVID-19.

As a result, Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s Dean’s Cocktail Reception, being held in conjunction with the Conference on Sunday, April 19, will be cancelled.

While we are very disappointed that we are unable to spend time with you at the reception, your health and safety, and that of our faculty and students, are a priority. We are looking forward to fall and winter 2020, when we will be joining incoming Dean, Dr. John Yoo, as he meets alumni in a number of cities across Canada and the United States. Stay tuned for more details to be shared in the coming months.
