DSAS Talks - Dr. Raymond Carroll (Texas A&M University)

It is a great pleasure for me to announce that the recipient of the honorary degree at this year’s science convocation will be Dr. Raymond Carroll from the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University. Dr. Carroll is the  Jill and Stuart A. Harlin ’83 Chair in Statistics, Distinguished Professor of Statistics, Nutrition and Toxicology at TAMU, a fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the American Statistical Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a recipient of the COPSS President’s Award and the  Jerome Sacks Award for Outstanding Cross-Disciplinary Research, National Institute of Statistical Sciences, among other honours.
