The Littlewood-Richardson Rule
Abstract: The Littlewood-Richardson rule is a combinatorial formula that appears in algebraic geometry and representation theory. This talk will describe the combinatorics behind the formula. If there is time we will explain how the formula shows up in representations of the general linear group, aka linear algebra.
