Title: Exceptional collections on flag varieties in positive characteristic
Abstract:
Over a field of characteristic zero, a theorem of Kapranov shows that the bounded derived category of a flag variety admits a full strong exceptional collection.
In this note, we prove that the bounded derived category admits a full exceptional collection in positive characteristic.
These results are new, based upon some work of Buchweitz, Lueschke and Van Den Bergh.
