Guest Concert: Cecilia Kang, clarinet with A. Park, piano
Room: von Kuster Hall
Han and Heung Concert
In Korean culture, han (恨) signifies deep-rooted resentment and suffering, often arising from past traumas or injustices. In contrast, heung (興) captures a sense of exhilaration and joy in life. The Han and Heung program features newly commissioned works for clarinet, piano, and electronics, inspired by stories of struggle and hope from living composers worldwide.
Join us for an evening of music performed by guest artist Cecilia Kang, clarinet (Louisiana State University), and faculty member Angela Park, piano.
Supported by Music Undergraduate Gift Fund.
