The Salsa Band presents an off-campus concert at Wolf Performance Hall in downtown London.
Los Gansitos plays a lively program of dance music which includes salsa, timba, cumbia, chachacha, bolero and more. This 15 member Afro-Cuban orchestra is comprised of students from Western University some of whom have never played these styles before. Including voices, Afro-Cuban percussion, piano, bass and a large horn section this is a sound not often heard in London, Ontario.
