Lauren Pearl, most recently of 'Gould's Wall' fame, where she sang an opera while climbing the inner wall at the Royal Conservatory of Music will be in residence at the Don Wright Faculty of Music with Musicians from Marlboro from Oct. 20-28th.    You have the opportunity to work with this incredible artist on Sunday Oct. 23 from 1pm- 2:45 in Music Building rm. 27.

Lauren trained in the Ensemble Studio with the Canadian Opera Company, as an Emerging Artist with Opera Philadelphia, and is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music.  She has a wide-ranging career, and has performed across Canada and the US.  Lauren will give participants a glimpse into her career path, and the means to crafting the full body as the instrument.   They will discuss the many possibilities within an operatic career, offering a behind the scenes glimpse into the industry.  They  will also lead group exercises in a workshop on movement,  voice, and breath.  Lauren will offer you new perspectives on artistry and bravery.

With the Musicians from Marlboro, she will give a concert on Oct. 28th in von Kuster Hall at 8pm.
