QGIS: Making your first map

This is the first workshop of our three part open-source GIS series. Participants will be introduced to QGIS, an open-source GIS software.

We will take a tour of the software and walk through data creation, layer symbology and map publishing together. Make sure to register for parts 2 & 3 to learn more about mapping different types of data.

Outcomes:

  • Learn about QGIS and how to create a map in using QGIS.
