Virtual Study Schedule Prep Session for Physics 1201A

Undergraduate students, join us for our Study Schedule Preparation Session via Zoom for an hour of chatting about midterm exam prep for Physics 1201A and having your course-specific questions answered by an upper-year student who has completed the course (i.e. Learning Peers). These Study Sessions are a great way to chat with other students in the course, create a study schedule so you're prepared for your upcoming midterm and have your questions answered by knowledgeable upper-year students. This event is brought to you by the Learning Development & Success Centre Learning Peers and is free to attend, no registration required.

Session Objectives:

• To provide first-year students with information and practice creating a midterm-test study schedule for at least one of their first-year courses? 
• To provide first-year students with information about strategies for successful final test preparation for both in-person and online tests. Strategies include distributed and spaced learning, organization of study materials, an understanding of help resources available, ways to manage pre-exam stress, etc? 
• To provide first-year students with information about the common structures and demands of writing in-person tests and exams? 
• To provide a relaxed peer-to-peer environment in which first-year students can connect with trained Learning Peers about their learning in their first-year courses and connect with other first-year students to build connections for learning?
