"Attaining Economic Justice: Reality or Fantasy for Indigenous Peoples"

Presenters: Denise Beeswax; Eva M. Jewell, DSocSci (Candidate); Dawn-Estelle Miskokomon, Hons. B.A.; Brenda Young, LL.B.

As Canada celebrates its 150-year anniversary, Indigenous peoples continue to live in relative poverty despite Canada's status as a human rights leader - leaving many to wonder if justice is at all attainable. What would an Indigenous solution to economic justice look like?

Lunch will be provided. You are welcome to attend some, or all, of this symposium!
