Attention Indigenous Students!

Hi, my name is Derrick and I’m a third-year PhD student in neuroscience. My research integrates computational and neuroscience approaches to better understand how neural computations in prefrontal cortex supports human perception, cognition and action. Before starting graduate school, I did my undergrad in computer science and math.

For students who are interested in pursuing science and engineering, if you have any difficulties writing scholarship or graduate school applications, deciding on what math, stats and computer science courses to take to build your skills, or need pointers on preparing for exams, feel free to stop by during my ISC office hours.
