Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.

On this day, we hope to bring local community members and the campus community together to remember and commemorate those who experienced  residential schools in Canada.

We will meet at Indigenous Services Centre (WSS, Room 2100, 2nd floor) for opening remarks and then do an awareness walk on Campus and return to the centre for refreshments.

We have a limited number of Western branded Orange Shirts for sale on a first come first serve basis through Indigenous Services. Feel free to wear any orange shirt, sweater or tank top on that day to show your support!

Visit www.orangeshirtday.org for more information about the movement.
