FIMS Career Conference 2020: The Launch

This event is open to 4th year FIMS undergraduate students. To register, students should check their Western email for the registration link.

Want to you know what it's like as a FIMS student after graduation? Get ready to meet some pretty incredible alumni who are excited to be coming back to the FIMS family to help you get ready to launch. It's really not that scary! This is the 3rd annual event for fourth year FIMS students held on-campus at London Hall Residence, Western University.

The conference features keynote speaker, Liz Trinnear, TV Personality and LA Correspondent for CTV's etalk, breakout industry specific sessions, networking roundtable discussions that will give students the opportunity to:

- Learn how to put a degree from FIMS to work
- Learn from and network with inspiring and notable FIMS alumni
- Learn strategies to help with career development

Students will attend four sessions with FIMS alumni from a number of career/industry areas that may include:

Advertising and Marketing, Public Relations and Communciations, Non-Traditional, Government, Public Policy, and Nonprofit, Journalism , Digital Communications and Social Media, Print and Online Publishing

Selection of workshops and registration begins at 2:30 at London Hall. Spaces in sessions are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

This is not a drop in event so mark you calendar from 2:30-9 pm and get ready to spend your Friday with FIMS!

There is no charge for attending this event thanks to the generous donations of students to the Undergraduate Student Fund (USF). Refreshments and dinner are provided.
