FIMS Homecoming Speakers & Panel.

On Homecoming Saturday, the Faculty of Information and Media Studies will be hosting guest speakers and a panel discussion regarding "A Citizen's Guide to Real News: Why Trusted Local News Matters".

The Faculty of Information and Media Studies is proud to host its featured guest speakers:

Kathy English: Public Editor, Toronto Star and FIMS Asper Fellow, B.A. History '79, M.A. History '98;
April Lindren: Founding Director of the Ryerson Journalism Research Centre
Josh Benton: Founder and Director of the Nieman Journalism Lab at Harvard University.

Following the speakers, a panel discussion, moderated by Paul Benedetti, will feature local journalists talking about local stories that matter. Panelists TBA.
