"The Grad Library Presents...Indigenization and Reconciliation in Academic Libraries"

For FIMS Grad Students:

Chris Read will be reflecting on his experiences from serving on the Research working group at the University of Waterloo aiming to implement a campus-wide Indigenization strategy, including the recommendations made to the steering committee and the process of getting to them. He intends to highlight areas where academic libraries have opportunities, and can take leadership roles, in developing meaningful Truth and Reconciliation and Indigenization strategies. Specifically, he will discuss the recommendations made to the University of Waterloo Library.
