Téa Mutonji is a short story writer from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Her debut collection, Shut Up You’re Pretty, was picked as a book to read in 2019 by Quill and Quire, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star and CBC Books.

This talk is part of the “Write Now!” course offered by the Department of English & Writing Studies at Western University. Writing 2520A is organized around a series of lectures by writers. Every week, a new writer visits the class to read from their work, talk about their writing and their career, and answer questions. Talks are FREE and OPEN to the public!
