Jehan Lehucher: A Reinaissance Scribe in Rouen

Thursday, November 8, 2018
2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
University College (UC)

Mario Longtin is Associate Professor of French Medieval literature. His current project focuses on the transmission of farces and morality plays in Rouen in the 16th century. He has staged several plays and is currently working on a production of Tartuffe that will be presented at the McManus theatre in March 2019.

Mario spent intensive time while on sabbatical last year researching manuscripts in the archives at Rouen, and he has come back to Western with some surprising finds.

If you have any interest in early modern and medieval studies, please do make time to join us! Graduate and undergraduate students from any department are very welcome.
