The Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite will be hosting a public event – Fancy Fossils!
Join us for a talk from Dr. Cam Tsujita about “The Mysterious Lives of Ammonites” at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
You can also practice your paleontology skills and excavate your own fossil! We will be displaying fossils from our collections alongside ammonites from our newest donation.
We will have activities for children recommended ages 6 and up.
As always, this public afternoon at the Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite will also include beautiful exhibitions of rocks, minerals, fossils and meteorites from around the world.
