Join the Rotman Institute of Philosophy for a lecture by Gillian Crozier, an Associate Professor of Philosophy and the Canada Research Chair in Environment, Culture and Values at Laurentian University.
Dr. Crozier is a Western alumna, and will be presenting her recent paper that explores philosophical arguments made regarding the ethical and political legitimacy of zoos and aquariums, and evaluates their applicability in the current social and scientific context, with a particular focus on the Canadian setting.
This lecture is free and open to the public, but due to space constraints advance registration is requested.
